American Express Green Card (Review)

a  classic card  2 bad  we can't have 2x on dining and 2x on travel.  American express lives in the stone ages  otherwise  a  great card  member since 1958.

it  certainly  is  a very nice card the only problem  is American express lives in the stone ages  they  judge a card by how it looks
''oh  a  green card  couldn't  be  better  than  a gold or platinum"'  does it matter how  a  card looks  what difference does it matter  what color   the card is.  for sentimental value is  why I  would get the card again.  they still haven't added more points on dining and  travel  I  feel  being  this is a travel card  since  the  Barclays  arrival card  and  Chase Sapphire perfered   have
2x on dining  and travel  why can't this card?

I  wonder  how  American express  would feel if  merchants like  grocery stores,  hair salons,  fast food restaurants and movies didn't take credit cards?

I  wonder  how  they would feel  if there was no computer application wise?  
I  wonder  what the world  would look like  if everywhere people went they had to wear a  suite and tie?

why  would  anybody want to cancel this legendary card  that would like be getting rid of Brookes Brothers ,  the New York Yankees, Montreal Canadiens , Los angeles Lakers,  Malls , coach

it's  a lower level travel card  but has  a lower annual fee than the platinum  and earns the same amount of points except for airfare?
it might not be your card But I see a lot of people using  this card.

you probably get more baggage protection on airline flights than 98 % of travel cards

rember this is not a revolving credit card it's a open credit card.

Can you put a limit on the authorized user cards? I know you can on Amex revolving cards but i didn't know if that was the same for the charge cards

you can also transfer points to certain airlines  I  think they have over  800 ?

How  would you compare my capital1 venture 1 credit card vs the Green American express open credit card?

I  think  the  foreign transaction fee is fare 2.7 yes it's a travel card but you can use it for personal purchases such as going to Barnes and nobles, best buy , bed bath and beyond ect  not  just for renting cars on business, business lunches , not just for hotel stay  but personal items  and business you can use this card for  so I think the 2.7 transaction  fee is fair.so  for somebody who makes a lot of business trips and travels out of the country, the company doesn't offer any small business or corporate cards  they tell you  that you have to use your credit card  what card would you suggest them to apply for?  they travel on a variety of airlines and stay at many different hotels?  what credit card should they get?
