I got the same thing but with usb c instead of lightning so I bought attachments to make it lightning and it doesn't work anyone help?

Please, someone answer me this. If I connect this adapter to my laptop via HDMI, the image appears on a screen alongside Windows or does it take the whole screen only for that? I want to mirror my iPad screen to my computer and use a software to record the video because it works much better than wi-fi mirroring.

I don't get any audio, when I connect it to my monitor, I have external speakers, connected to the monitor.

If i put a hdmi cable into my ps4 and the other end into that adapter and then put the lightning into my ipad, will my ipad be used as a tv?

Question. I have seen everyone and so many videos on this product mirroring your iphone but no one has shown if the mirroring includes the camera for live video streaming. Can you mirror the camera feature in the phone as well? I know you can stream directly to the web from the phone it self but I have other ideas and want to know if I can utilize the iphone camera with this device to stream to a switcher live is the question?

Do you know why the newer non apple china made lightning to hdmi cables require hotspot feature? I was looking on amazon and lots of them say it requires wifi/hotspot so I figured it had something to do with apple restricting knockoffs and blocks them? please let me know if you know anything about this.
