The DSG family of transmissions is not an automatic transmission. It's essentially a computer controlled manual gearbox (complete with a clutch/clutches) so for those flops who don't have a clue what they're talking about go do some research before commenting.

Autohold in an automatic vehicle... WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYY ??

In case of break down how can you deactivate this in order to be towed?
-
I wondered why after 3 minutes at a light it would turn on the parking brake. When id tai off the CC would release the parking break and its a bit more of a rough start coming off of the parking brake than coming off of the autohold
-
If you pull the parking brake button like you were setting it while moving, it acts as an emergency brake. However, it's no fun for sliding lol. My CC does a 4 wheel antilock stop...so annoying trying to have fun in the snow.
-
My '12 CC will set the parking brake when I take the seatbelt off if AutoHold is on.
-
How can i activate it while moving , i want to do a handbrake turn
-
How can i activate

Does annoy me a little that I always have to enable autohold when turning the car on, now you've told me how to do it in the MFI i'll check it out! Thanks.
