Hi Alexis, I rendered my clip to a 1080 YouTube video. My original clips are all in HD (1080 at least) but the final video result turned out to be very pixelated (looks like a low-res video), even though the output video shows resolution of 1920 x 1080 in its file properties. Checked the project settings and timeline res is 1920x1080 with the same frame rate as the output(24).

Hi Steve, I was interested to switch from Premiere to Resolve, but using the 12.5 it always crashes when exporting. Any advice to avoid this issue ? Thanks a lot ! Paolo

When I do this, it either tells me that it's encoded in a format that isn't supported or it works, but there's no audio.

When I try to save in H.264 my video renders in a second and creates a .mov file that's basically 00:00:00 long... what did I do wrong here? Or is it because I use the free version?
It's really hard to get a grasp at those things if you're not really too familiar with video editing but wanna use more than Windows Movie Maker...

I want to export my 12 min Video in a very small format. With my current settings it exports with about 80 GB and my Computer isn't able to play the file properly after and it always stops. I figured that the reason will be the size. How can I help it so it will be smaller? I'm using Resolve 12.5 for Windows

Hey! Thanks for the tutorial, one question. I'm trying to export a 4K video using Davinci Resolve 12.5, not the Studio version, so I can't export 4K in H.264. How can I upload to YouTube in 4K from Resolve? Thanks!
