SUBSCRIBE for daily car videos! http://vid.io/xkQ Kinetic Energy Recovery Systems (KERS) have been introduced into Formula One as part of the sport's major regulation change for 2009. A means to recover energy created under braking, the new regulation will see all teams running either a battery or flywheel system this season in an effort to improve racing. With the potential for the systems to be filtered into other applications, KERS is also one of the sport's major green initiatives. Williams is the only team on the grid to be using a flywheel system which is demonstrated in this film, together with the team's Chief Designer, Ed Wood and CEO of Williams Hybrid Power, Ian Foley

Somebody always ends fucking up at that mission...
-
the sixties were the best for formula 1 and the seventies brought changes that lead to safer race cars in the eighties and to present days
-
I invented the KERS system... Ok I'm gonna go chat shit elsewhere.

Braking is simply accelerating the car in the other direction. You put energy in to accelerate forward, you recover it by decelerating (accelerating backwards). Normal braking works by converting the mechanical kinetic energy of the car into heat. Instead of converting it into heat, you can keep it as mechanical energy, but move it into a flywheel. As to what linkage is used to connect the flywheel and the wheels, I don't know.

They say how it operates, but now how it works. Its insane. How on earth can you get enenergy from a car braking ? I seen most of the KERS video on youtube and all explain what it does, but now HOW IT DOES IT.

-
hey my prius has KERS too!
-
That's because the laptops do pretty complex calculations, so a low demand OS that still has major functionality it required.

it's not the place for this kind of stupidity got fight with mac lovers somewhere else

Yeah thats right!, its obvious. Its about money and politics. The raw beauty of the sport during the Senna-Prost-Lauda-Mansell era are gone
