This really help, after watching the video I hacked my first terminal.
It's not a tutorial if you aren't explaining the process... Am I supposed to know what it means when your clicking on the random symbols?

I just spent 20 minutes trying to hack an easy terminal. I'm so bad. =(
or better yet: randomly click three words, if it's wrong, quit and retry until it works.
That didnt make any sense. Fuck these god damn terminals!! They don't make any sense!!
I hack by comparing the right letter each time, most times this works. Now I see Dud removed!? Lol after I finish the game.

When it comes to the last one..how do I know which word to choose?
Thanks! Like a few people here, I thought the "Correct X/Y" was referring to the total number of correct letters, not correct letters plus correct position. Sorted!
that helps so much thx i thought the likeness was what words were the same such as create, great that they both have the same letter so i thought to look for e,a,t
