I have s7 edge and even in case of fast charging it takes around 3 mins 7 seconds in order to increase 1 percent ? what is wrong?

I just bought a belkin 10 watt 2.1 amp charger. it charges my phone in 10 minutes. I don't know if it's damaging it but it's getting the job done very fast.

The actual output of Samsung's Adaptive Fast Chargers is 10W/15W solid. That's 2A@5V and 1.667A@5V.
Flooring 1.667A to 1.6A results in an accuracy error of 4%. That might seem microscopic, but if you were the one programming the charging software, that would result in exploding batteries. -

One of the reasons causes note 7 explode
bt it gives me charging speed of 700mAmp bcoz it charges my fone 10-12% for almost an hour..
so is it charger's fault or its bcoz i used the same old data cable for charging??.
should i buy a new one??.
