That e-Sports scenario at the end reminds me of Triforce Johnson's idea of a MOBA-style Pokemon game for the Switch. Make the game free to play, add in-game microtransactions like skins for the Pokemon, promote the game to play it for fun and competitively, and who knows? Maybe in the future we could start seeing professional teams, world championships, with high prize pools, similar to League of Legends and Dota. Therefore, more people would consider getting a Switch to jump in the action. I think it would be a success. Make it happen, Nintendo!
