I bought the original Up2 earlier in the year, and I was happy with it. However lately, I have been having trouble with it staying on my arm. Today after it came off of my arm again, I decided it was going to be a matter of time before I would lose it. I bought the updated Up2, and now it is on my arm after being charged up and the firmware being updated. Hopefully this fitness band will stay on my arm better than the other one.

Once you fit the band to your wrist it becomes easier to work the clasp. No worry of falling off wrist. The APP needs some improvement where the food logging comes into play. @callmemarc, the HR was only set to work during sleep but I just heard they are updating it soon to be 24/7 monitoring. For now be sure you have it snug but not too tight.

I would tell everyone to avoid a Jawbone fitness tracker. They have an average life of 90 days and the company will replace one for you, but the second time around they will do their best to avoid making you whole, citing their ridiculous policy. Best to simply avoid the trouble and look elsewhere with so many companies producing these gadgets these days.

Will the up3 show me the burned calories as accurate as the bodymedia fit link?

I'll keep my Up24 for the time being. Nothing wrong with it, still one of the best fitness tech devices around even with the new generation of fitness tech.
