FIX: Smartphone Proximity Sensor (Xperia Z Ultra)

Hi, I have the same hardware but I have no Calibration option in the menu. Do you know how I get the original apk that has it?

Where would the proximity sensor be located?

if you cant find calibration option, download Quicktuneup in play store> sensor calibration

My phone is an Xperia Z Ultra with Lollipop. I have a screen protector and I was having trouble with the screen coming back on after a call. I thought your video had the solution... except that when I get to that service menu it only has 4 options -- Calibrations is missing. So I kept looking and I found the following tip on the web -- and it solved my problem.

So, if you think you have a proximity sensor problem but have no access to the calibration menu try this. I hope it also works for you:

Turn off phone
Press firmly on proximity sensor
Turn on phone
Once on main screen
Press firmly on proximity sensor
Try to make a call

in case you have an XPERIA Z ULTRA get the JP 4.3 / 14.2.A.1.136 and it does comes out calibration option.

great info!! I managed to get to the service menu by dialing the codes. Unfortunately I have only four options, I don't see the calibrate option within the list. Do you happen to know why I don't have that particular one?

I also have the same problem and when I run the Diagnostics, the proximity sensor is always on. When I checked the ##... there's no option to calibrate. Thoughts?

Worked for me.. My G-sensor for Xpreia Z had stopped working.. Just followed the steps in the video and recaliberated my sensor.. Works fine now..

Guys, need help here. I bought T2 Ultra single SIM.
And I just realized that there's no proximity sensor on the phone? I checked from an app that could detect sensor but there's no proximity sensor :(

I'm having trouble with the Xperia SP but does not have this option to calibrate the proximity sensor has a suggestion? In my xperia z1 have this option, is it the difference of ROM?
