I watched a couple videos that involved removing the top stops which I didn't have the tools for. I was thinking there has to be an easier way since I just lost a zipper tooth at the bottom. Your way is soooo much better, quick and easy and my zipper is fixed in 5 minutes. Thank Natalia!!

One of the zips on the front pouch of my holiday bag had split and I watched half a dozen videos without any success until yours. That's it fixed and as the zip is exposed I sewed up the rest of it so it looked a little neater.

If you remove the stoppers on both ends of the zipper with pliers you will be able to reinsert the slider again without cutting, sawing and will not loose any length on the zipper.
