I haven't watched later in the series, but I don't think there will be an alliance with dani and jon, I think there will be a war between them. GRRM isn't the kind of person to have all the good characters in a happy alliance who can win any war they want. one of them will die, for good.
-
I'm sure I read somewhere that GRRM would rather have left dany out of the majority of the books after A Game of Thrones only jumping back occasionally. So most of danys arc is largely irrelevant. But then again I'm not 100% sure that was what I read and I cant find a quote only so I may be misremembering.

I wonder if the writers know that Volantenes are Valaryan lite in appearance. But it could be just some regular guy who got powerful in Volantis with the way he looks.
Edit:
"Belicho Paenymion is a prominent noble of the Free City of Volantis,
and a member of the "Old Blood", descendants of the original Valyrian
settlers of the city. Like most of the Volantene nobility, Belicho is
involved in the slave trade."
NEVERMIND. He's of old blood but looks nothing like a Valyrian. -
When will you upload episode 8?

Jora does not say it's fine or even hint he doesn't understand the severity of his ailment. Pretty bad interpretation.

I must say your comment about Danny's character worries me. I mean it seems as if you do not, in fact, know what a character arc is. Returning to where you started is the way almost every hero story goes, the character starts unhappy with how things are, goes out to get famous/rich/change the world, and find things don't go the way they planned and that things weren't so bad the way they were before. Like any story where to people are best friends, something happens and they drift apart and after a hard time are friends again. That is simply how character development works.
If that is confusing think of it this way. Imagine a Danny who never tried peace, one who was all fire and brimstone and war all day every day. No mercy. You do what I want regardless of your beliefs or customs or I burn you alive.
Interesting no doubt, but very different from a person who tried their damnedest to make peace happen, to respect those who respected her and even those who didn't, to talk and listen and try and find a peaceful solution and despite all that things never work out. When that person says 'FK IT BURN EM' there is a completely different character saying it. One is reckless and possibly mad like her forefathers the other is a reasonable person who has exhausted all other options and is simply done running in circles.
