To contradict, Jon was already born by the time Eddard put his sword against the bed.

Lancel follows the kid because he knows that child-spies are the information network of King's Landing. He may not have learned a whole lot from his time as Cersei's bed-warmer, but he knows that much. The kid is running off, presumably to give Cersei a heads-up. He follows to keep that from happening. Mystery: solved.
The people of the north aren't following Jon based on his strategic command skills. Ironically it is BECAUSE he rode into no-man's-land in front of a shit-load of witnesses, putting himself in danger in a desperate bid to save the boy who had a better claim to Winterfell than he did. He was selfless when it counted. Does that make him a good leader? No. But... hello? Have you met the people of Westeros? They don't follow people based on brains, but on strength. They sense weakness, and they leave. Can you imagine if Jon just stood there impotently with a stupid look on his face while Rickon was killed? That was the "smart" move... supposedly. But that smart move would've lost him all his support. Ramsey wasn't stupid enough to just charge in and blunder into their obvious trap. He would've waited there all damn day while the crows feasted on dead Rickon and Jon stood there... impotently. Yeah. All hail the King in the Norf. -
"this is the begining of the end" it's sad to remember that :'(

dude.. you just spoiled star wars for me

always well done

Arya gets stabbed in the gut, no problem, she ran a lot. Lancel gets stabbed once, can't crawl 20 feet to blow out a candle.

Daenerys Targaryen is a freaking idiot. I don't understand why people want her to be Queen when she is clearly not a smart ruler. You pointed out how when you conquer a city and completely disrupt it's social structure it turns to chaos, but wait a minute didn't this already happen in past seasons? Shouldn't she have learned from her past mistakes? She is such a Mary Sue it's annoying. BTW I think Jon Snow is a Gary Sue as well and that's why they follow him. Not only is he guilty of all the things you mentioned, but you forgot that he also got a lot of people killed in the battle of the bastards and in all honesty he lost that fight. If it wasn't for Sansa they would ALL BE DEAD! I don't understand why people are so enamored with this ridiculously annoying characters that are way over their heads yet people act like they are the the best in every way and completely ignore their faults. Yet very interesting and complex characters like Cersei Lannister are completely hated. Side note I just got all the books earlier today and I am about to start reading ASAP.

Is there any possibility that Sansa can have the same torture inflicted on LF that he caused her ? I would love to see that !!!

Danny will face a lot of problems. Both back home and with her current allegiance with Sunspear/Tyrell. It's too simplistic to follow a certain plot line like "Danny goes to Kings landing and wrecks everything". Lannisters still have a big army, and they know the lands better than Danny's army does, not to mention, despite how abundantly clear Varys has made his intentions, you still have to be sceptical of his actions. Him and Littlefinger are big players in this game and it would be a mistake on the show's behalf not to incorporate them on the big stage.
That being said, since the Lannister army is mainly controlled by Jaime, depending on what he decides (stick with Cersei/run away and seek a different alliance), it should set somewhat of a course for the season. Because as much of a shitstorm it is, Lannisters still have one of the biggest armies in westeros, next to the Tyrells and the Vale.
Then you factor in what happens with the Greyjoys, since they're pretty much in a bit of a 'safe zone' and nobody atm other than Yara expects much from him, so he could invade the north, the south, the options are aplenty for him given his ships.
Also the plot line with Brann, again maybe it isnt so clear cut. There are still going to be inevitable plot holes or plot in general that we don't know about because it's not mentioned. We can use the books as a guide but they arent always necessarily as per the tv show. -
or he R+L=J theory, Robert was engaged to Liana. What if instead of being Raegal, the R turns out to stand for Robert?

Didnt Jons watch end when he got killed?
-
How is Jon a deserter of the Night's Watch? I was under the impression he was freed from his oath the second he DIED!!
-
Ilyn Payne was also on her list.

At this point, I am guessing that Dany is Azor Ahai according to the prophecy, and Jon is Lightbringer. The bit about "when the red star bleeds" is pretty on the nose regarding the comet that, as Osha noted, means dragons. Calling a comet a star in the context of the world's scholarly knowledge is not out of left field, and the comet had a literal red tail (bleeding). Dany was literally reborn in Drogo's pyre, which also brought about the comet.
Jon, a Targaryen, is more akin to Viserys as far as his dragon-ness is concerned. In the show, Viserys thought he was the dragon, but as Dany stated "Fire cannot kill the dragon." In the context of the show, the bit about fire is consistent: Dany has never been burned, whereas Jon most clearly has been kissed by fire. HOWEVER, one could assume that Ygritte was a stand-in for the "star that bleeds" -- she has red hair, kissed Jon, and then died in his arms shortly before his own death and resurrection... And yet, perhaps Lightbringer is not a literal sword, but a metaphorical one? Jon was killed with a stab to the heart, by Olly, and then resurrected by a fire priestess (in the light of R'hllor) so maybe he is Lightbringer and Dany is Azor Ahai? -
Jon gets revived. Dolores be like: "Would you like to renew your Nights Watch subscription? The one with the Watch ending with your death? We... came across a technicality, so in order not to lose our beloved customers, we need you to sign here, here, here, my shirt, aaand here. Done! Thank you very much, you just abandoned your claim to the Iron Throne. Come again!"
