I've had 7 different Garmin Runner's watches, including the 910 & 920xt and this is the worst it's been for uploading activities...!
Can't they just put a SIMPLE, "TRANSFER ACTIVITY" Button or Feature into the software... With this last update, I've been waiting 30 or 40 minutes for the watch to "Sync" data, It's Random at Best, and recently it's been taking 40 Minutes before it does any transfer... WTF...???:
Come On Garmin!!! Let's Fix your Buggy software...! -
Is Garmin working on fixing this app? As of today it has awful reviews. Great reviews for the watch itself though.

Strongly recommend to read all the different forums on internet before you guys purchase the Garmin 920xt watch. Numerous issues: wifi doesn't work half the times, bluetooth fails constantly (to sync activities) and swimming lap counting is very innacurate (compared to the previous model). I raised these issues to the Gamin support team (since January 2015) but they seem quite useless about finding solutions. It's a nice watch but it still has a lot of faults... I would simply recommend to just read a few forums before buying it.

GARMIN STAFF: Can you please add a "transfer activity via bluetooth" to be able to force a sync via Bluetooth once you're near your phone? Thanks ....
By the way, 2month in and your staff still haven't sorted the Wifi problem... not what you expect from a brand like yours and a price tag like the 920xt. -
Bluetooth sync only works if you have the phone with you connected as soon as you finish the activity. This is NOT good if you do a pool swim.
Basically, if you want to sync/transfer your activity to Garmin Connect, you'll need to wait to click "Save" until you are near your phone again... otherwise it will simply not pick it up at a later stage...
A workaround: You need to create a dummy activity and save it when you're next to your phone in order to sync both activities (your dummy one and the proper session you did in the pool). a waste of time as you'll need to delete the dummy activity as soon as you get home. -
so no sync via bluetooth or wifi.... hummm??? lads, wake up! you need to sort these things with your development team before you launch!

I've been in touch with your support team for the past 10 days and the watch still doesn't sync vis Wi-fi... pretty poor quality for a watch that costs a lot of money!
