Garmin Vivosmart - REVIEW

I love this band can I get it cheaper like at $50.

I am looking for a band with good vibration alarm and comfort while sleeping for waking up in the morning, you mentioned that fitbit alta isn't good in vibrating alarm. so do you this garmin vivo smart good for me ? or do you recommend other bands ? pls for your kind advice

I bought it since a week ago and am facing a lot of problems such as dead pixels and the device is restarting by its own !! in less than 7 days !!!
And when i contact our local retailer i get informed that it will not be changed because i buy it from dubai and i live in jordan !! so they can help me and exchange it with garmin vivo smart hr but i have to pay third of the hr price !!!!
I just get ripped off by garmin !!

It would be a really useful device for those who do not want to be an athlete, just want a nice activity tracker with good design and they are above...lets say 40, just like me and I really like it, honestly. But. My first one took me about 3 months till die and the 2nd I've been using since '15 august started to show some issues after couple months and now its 9 months old and its display hardly visible and I'am afraid its going to die soon. By the way one of my friend using his 3rd one of these, first two died also. So anyway be aware of the ridiculously poor quality and never buy any without warranty!

do Garmin Vivosmart and Runtastic HR Monitor talk to each other?

Could I make it so I only get my texts and no my emails because it never stops vibrating because I get sooo many emails.

After having this product for a year, I think only about half of the screen is visible now. :( I didn't expose it to extreme temperatures or anything. O.O I didn't dive with it. Didn't bang it against things or anything. :(

Very good review. I just picked my VS up and it was missing the paperwork. Hey it was $40 off so I'm feeling okay about it. Your review showed me every thing expected in the package and how to fire it up and use it effectively. thanks you

I bought one in Sept. and have already had to send it back twice because the display pixels were fading. Every three months is what it has averaged to sending it back. This last time Garmin decided to send me the vivosmart HR. This device is much more bulky and looks more like a space watch. The reason I originally selected the vivosmart is for its minimal sleek look and the fact that it was water proof. I would not recommend the vivosmart. I am looking forward to the the HR monitor so hopefully this new device holds up and I can continue to use Garmin.

Jim, I have had my vivosmart for a littler over a year and I love it! Now, I am noticing the pixels are disappearing and it hard to read most things. Can I get it repaired? Is their a battery to change? Please help. I cant find any details on this. Thanx
