chromecast 2 has much stronger wifi signal. I have 3 chromecast 1, chromecast 2 and chromecast audio.. only chromecast 2 has properly signal in my kitchen. with Chromecast 1 in my kitchen my entire wifi network suffer. I lose 90% of my network speed and a lot of stability. Chromecast with weak signal will make interference on your network. with proper signal there's no interference.
