GoPro: Introducing Capture App

i wonder how that girl atop the mountains signed into her account.
oh and im pretty sure each and every thing in this video the 'go pro app' also did. in fact they avoided telling you anything about being
forced to sign in and only be limited to wifi/data areas so safe to say wifi only devices are incapable of being a remote. ipod touch? ipad? forget it - unless youre at home

Online Login required, if you are in a remote area say like a volcano, you have to login to the internet before you can access your camera. not being able to remote control the head cam makes the very expensive camera dead weight, all those batteries that were planned on using up more dead weight thanks to Internet connection/Login required.

I was about to buy my first gopro the session 4 for 200$, needed something small for my mtb sessions. Guess back to researching 😛 cuz that app just made my decision 100% negative since theres no internet in the trails for crying out loud! It just shows you the owner and GoPro team has never been outdoors😂😂😂. They might get their suits and dresses dirty😂😂😂. Either that or theyre mentally ill.

Such is my hatred of this move by GoPro, I would recommend NOT to download this app due to the requirement to log in just to use something you've already bought. Further, their terms and conditions EXPRESSLY PROHIBIT anyone under 13 from accessing their website so basically, if you're under 13 and use this app to control your camera, you're in breach of GoPro's own T&C's. How f*k'ed up is that? I've aired my views with GoPro support and shall make it a passion NEVER to recommend a GoPro product again. Nick Woodman...*that is what you call Karma!

m using this app on s6 edge plus running 6.0.1 and its super slow. i cant use it

The app is worthless with the login requirement.  Makes it not a professional option as it can become unusable in the field when you need it in a hurry or don't have Internet access.  Support claims that you only have to login once but reality is different.  I got burned once  and couldn't use the app because I couldn't login.  So I have moved onto other devices that don't have this requirement.

Capture is a disaster, requires you to log in every time you want to use the app!!!!! GOPRO how is that supposed to work if you out of mobile reception???? You can not capture anytime and anywhere you advertising is misleading and this app is just a big stuff up.....

Can I use my gopro hero 4 session???

its a horrible app

This app wants me to login what seems to be every time I open the thing. This is especially annoying if I find out in the mountains and/or foreign country without roaming (No internet means no video preview).
I can't help feeling cheated by GoPro - offline use was a key functionality for me (and I can imagine every traveler feeling the same way). GoPro should consider making login optional and let me have the same features as I had when I bought the camera.
