GPS Tracker - How it works?

Yeah, but Google Maps can sometimes be a whole mile off from the actual coordinates with what it shows on its mapping. I used it out in the middle of the desert in Texas, and tried to get to an oil rig, and it had me a whole mile away from the actual coordinate location of the rig, so beware of Google Maps. Typing the coordinates into something like a Garmin might be FAR more accurate.

Yet another device that others (especially government....in the name of crime prevention, of course) can use to invade privacy.

I've purchased one of these trackers and bought a SIM, first, from AT&T that shares my existing plan, took it outside but the little green light wouldn't start flashing. I then bought a pre-paid SIM from H2O WIreless for $10 but the green light still won't flash. Can you give me a SIM provider and plan that delivers all the features that this tracker needs please?

Hello, my question is the same as Ebert Gutierrez, could this work out side of the USA and would it work with your actual carrier even though it would be outside the USA coverage area for lets say At&t or would I have to get a local carrier as long as the unit has a data Connection from any carrier? would I have to set up the unit again once I'm using another carrier outside the US?

I still dont know how sim card works?? how does it activate??? How do you get it a number ?

how do i know what my tracker's number is? i bought this to track my
drone in case it flies away. what would be the most economical sim card
to buy for a hopefully rarely used tracker? another thing is i have an
old style flip trac phone. i realize the map won't work but will the gps
coordinates still show?
