Seriously? The clutch disc bolts up to the flywheel? If you want to educate people, make sure what you are saying is right. Either he is not a real mechanic and he doesn't know what he is talking about or he didn't watch his own video afterwards. Either way this video should be removed as it is fundamental mistake and is misleading people who want to learn..

the disk dose not bolt up to the flywheel, it floats freely on the end of the transmission input shaft , and is only pressure wedged to the flywheel by the pressure plate , if it was bolted to the flywheel like your saying , your car would operate as intended

yeah... he definitely contradicted himself a couple times.

For those confused, he's actually attaching the clutch cover to the crankshaft. The pressure plate is a component inside the clutch cover; this is the plate that you pull off the clutch when you disengage your clutch (press the pedal in) in a manual transmission vehicle. The clutch cover spins with the flywheel, and consequentially the engine.

How can clutch disc bolt up to the flywheel and disengage whatch video from 19 seconds this is wrong information.
-
transmission input shaft holds the clutch in place the pressure plate puts pressure on the clutch against the flywheel so they turn together

I wonder if one day Youtube will automatically erase all 144p and 240p videos
