It didn't seam like they had a spinning core and I couldn't find any good visualizations showing how they functioned so I decided to make my own but first I had to make sure I understood the phenomenon behind it. I found out that they function much like insect halters, small wing like structures that vibrate up and down and sense motion. These little gyros use piezoelectric components to vibrate structures and when they spin the vibrating structure wants to keep moving on the same plane. the coriolis effect is what's behind its success, because the structures like to move up and down in the same plane, when their support is spun the coriolis effect causes the base to twist slightly sending a charge through the piezoelectric component. I hope that I have accurately depicted this device and its function and I hope that I understood the circuit diagrams and the technical writings that I researched for this.
