This seems a lot of work and it includes many things to remember. Allthough my schedule is a mess (I don't usually write dates or anything down) this could make it all more complicated. But I believe that for many people it is helpful and I'm glad

How is the model of the pen?

The migration process is super nice! I really like this system. I'll have to try this out, perhaps with a little personalization in the system.

I'm using a simple way of my own and I think the best way is to find what is best fit you.
For me,I define what is the most important thing in my life right now.As a student,so it's about studying at university and taking care of my future career
So my list is in order of priority
1.University:
-Subjects : it's about courses I'm attending in this semester
-Environment: it's about what I can do to get involved in the activity of my university and get the benefits from it.(events,clubs,contest,competition,extra-class...)
2.Extra-Learning:
-Programming
-Soft-skills
-English
3.Health & Fitness : it's about anything for getting a better health and a nice shape,a strong mind
-Eat,Sleep,Drink
-Running,Yoga,Meditation
4.Others
-Reading books
-Writing blogs...
So after that.I choose from one to two things of each part and take it to my today-list
today
-[University]-Learning Maths
-[Extra-Learning]-I should choose just only one topic to self-learning like learning Excel(Don't be so greedy) . Just only one and be a super good at it
-so on ... -
Quite impressive and I'm sure revolutionary for some. Perhaps ironically and most unfortunately, it is the case for some of us that if we were capable of learning and following such a system, we wouldn't need it.

Okay you complainers and whiners. The idea is this bullet journal exist to help you. Therefore, it caters to your needs. I recommend look at each section/topic in the bullet journal and pick only what you think is best for you. I personally skipped the monthly calendar and monthly task pages because they don't fit my needs. I don't include the future log yet because with my state of living it's not necessary. This is the basic, so most of the topics are what generally works together (not to mention this dude invented the system -- at least that's what I heard -- so obv these are what work for him; doesn't mean they will all work for you, too) but as mentioned: bullet journal is flexible. Meaning: you can customise it however you like. One glance at bullet journal community that is filled with people who use colourful ink and washi tapes should be enough to let you know you are free to be creative with it.

Can someone explain me the difference between event and appointment? English isn't my native language and I need some help to understand it :(
-
This is similar to the FranklinCovey planner system, but you can get all the already-filled-in sheets for the whole year from them, saving lots of time and effort.
-
I already do something similar but found some of the tips/tricks like the dot vs circle and index useful. However, I use a ring binder with paper as a notebook otherwise I would find my "index" pages VERY quickly running over/into my planner pages!

After watching different you tubes and getting familiar with many versions of bullet journaling from different setups, this is the quickest and easiest to set up and GET MOVING on it. I can get more creative as I get used to using the basic one created here. My daughter learned from this one and her journals get more and more creative. She now has several journals that she can look back on and each one gets cooler and cooler in character. Thank you much for this step by step guide.

Wow actually simple enough for my brain! Thank you!
-
I really want to do it but how do you do if you have something planned few months later? You can't add them somewhere because your monthly plan isn't done yet
-
That initial setup seems really repetitive. Why not just buy an agenda already? If all you do is add bullets or dashes and migrate tasks, you can easily do that in any regular agenda. Or, if there is any added benefit I'm not seeing here, perhaps you can explain this to me? I'm sure other viewers may have the same question.

Anyone here because of Melanie? 💚
-
Can you start a bullet journal in the middle of the year too?
-
Confused about the monthly log. How do you use the list of days in the monthly log?
-
when youre trying to be different but are actually retarded
-
This just made me realize how meaningless our lives actually are.

Looking at the daily log at 2:24. He has Michaels Birthday party written as an event does that mean it occurs on that day? Where would I write Michaels Birthday Party at the time I am invited for example if I informed about the party on the 8th but it occurs on the 20th
