Hey thank for your videos. I have a little drone that uses a 3.7v 650mah LiPo battery and it only can fly 8 minutes. I wanted to increase the capacity of the battery. I am going to try to use a 9v alkaline battery with a voltage divider to get 3.7v out of the battery and send it thru the usb port. It will act like it is charging, but at the same time it will be flying. I am starting in electronics, can I do this saffely? (sorry for the grammar, I am portuguese.) Cheers

I see 25C on the battery. Doesn't that mean it can handle 6 amps while charging? Or does that only apply for discharging?

guys my lipo battery has become fat so is it ok to charge and use it?

in constant current mode, can i use my constant current circuit 12v supply 500ma? then if the batt voltage is 4.2v ill disconnect

Playing w lipos be very careful, its a complete different level of safety with lipos.

Thanks for your very illustrative lipo charging batteries video. While I was watching the vid I recall a very old doubt regarding ajustable power supplies. How is it possible to adjust the current while the circuit is open with no load between the power terminals? When the power terminals are not connected to anything there are not exercing any job and therefore there it is not consumption and there it is not current, then how he does it?

So is it safe to charge a small LiPo battery WITH protection circuitry (against overcharge, overdischarge, overvoltage) directly from a 5V solar cell? I noticed that the voltage will drop to the battery voltage when charging, and so far none of my batteries has overheated / exploded (just small solar panels and batteries, about 200mAh / 80mA)

if i have a 11.1 v 1.5a battery so i need to put 11.1v and 1.5a in the power supply ?

I made a 3cell battery pack using 18650 cells from a laptop battery. I there any to charge them using the laptop battery pcb or any other circuit for balance charging?

What would happen if I continue to charge? Will it blows up or will the resistance become so high that practically no current flows?

My video camera use a LI-ION battery that outputs 7.2V

I opened up a small 720mAH battery case and replace the guts
with a power supply I built to convert a 12V SLA,, (using a LM317T regulator),
set to 7.2V. Unfortunately, when I plugged in my battery pack outputting the
7.2V. The camera WON'T come on. I have a feeling this has to do with the
lead marked on the battery pack with + - and D. I'm guessing the 'D' means
something, but I haven't figures that out yet. Could this be the problem?
