How to factory reset Fitbit Charge HR

My one is frozen on off

I cannot turn it on after my fitbit is off!! help me!!

Plug in and press button for about 3 sec and unplug the charger. Keep button pressed.
After about 8 sec release the button and push it again. A solid bar will show up
Keep the button pressed for another 8 seconds.
Release the button and push it again.
The word VIBE will appear and the device will start vibrating.
Keep the button pressed for another 8 seconds.
Release the button and push it again (for the last time).
Once the word "ERASE" apears release the button. Let the device turn itself OFF.

Fitbit would not sync and time was incorrect. followed factory reset instructions and it is now healthy.
Did have to write down the instructions as it was hard to do while following along with the video.

this does not work

An error code appeared on mine and now the fitbit won't turn on :( What should I do?

Fitbit skips the erase option. Goes right to off. Please help?
