the green ping is to show that its updating it has nothing to do if your close or not
-
This is so f***** helpful I can track Pokemon now for the first time in my nearby thing I love this vid
-
Wow does no one read the notes??

I think you're on to something, but for me, it seems to pulse for no reason even when I don't click the compass. Take it back to the drawing board and let us know what you find. 👍🏻
-
Bruh I can't even see your character

To clear some things up, first off the green pulse can mean different things. If you are moving around and you see a green pulse, it is most likely that the tracker is updating new Pokemon that you have now come into range. If you use the method shown in the video (standing still and spinning in a circle) your green pulse will likely indicate that the Pokemon is in the direction. Although it would be wise to always check your tracker and make sure which one it is, otherwise you'll walk a good amount to find nothing.
That being said the method is inconsistent because it usually only leads you to the general direction the Pokemon is in and not always directly to it.
Still all of this has become irrelevant due to the new patch coming out and bugging the tracking so much that it has been rendered useless. You can no longer track Pokemon by any method without an outside source (other locating apps or something like that).
Good day. -
This is actually inaccurate. The ping is actually updating the Pokémon in your radar so if you stay in the same place regardless of which way you face it will still ping.

HEY THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS TIP I SUBSCRIBED TO YOU AND HOPE YOU MAKE IT TO 100 SUBS

I went out and tested this yesterday and it seemed to work, but it's very buggy and inconsistent. Twice it pointed me across a river and I went way out of my way to cross a bridge and both times the Pokemon was indeed there. Other times though it pings in multiple directions or not at all. It seems you absolutely can't be walking when trying this or it will just ping randomly.
-
Not sure about this now it does seem to pulse at random with no Pokemon picked at the time.

Holy hell, thank you so much. I didn't know this trick.
Damn, this is going to cut down search time by a lot
