Andy here is my problem. I have an iMac. I recently was given a new modem from Time Warner for internet access. My magic mouse pointer will jump across my screen for no reason. I actually bought a more current Magic Mouse 2. At first it worked fine, the following day BAM pointer started jumping. I continued to diagnose the problem. I returned the magic mouse and bought a MX Master wireless mouse from Logitech. Great mouse by the way. I am still having the problem.
I tried to change the channel for my wifi on the new modem from Auto to 40/80 and it seemed to resolve the problem. It is still jumping around my screen. Very irritating. So the next thing I did was to turn off the modem and reboot my iMac. Bam that seemed to resolve the problem. So far no problems as long as modem if off. Now I have no internet.
Do you have any idea what may be going on? I need a longer coaxil cable and I will then try to move the modem further away from my computer and see if that resolves the problem. I noticed in System Preferences Network, there is something called Bluetooth PAN (personal area network for items that connect via bluetooth. I read online that with Apples older OS Yosemite they removed the B PAN. I want to try that but if I remove it and then all my bluetooth items like mouse and trackpad fail to work I do not know how to reinstall the Bluetooth PAN. Any ideas? Thank U in advance -

I finally found the solution to "Network not available...Enable Network access" whenever attempting to connect to an android device...(EL Captain)
Step 1: Enable Bluetooth Sharing and File Sharing in Preferences>Sharing
Step 2: Enable mobile hotspot on your android device(most of the problem is due to this)...this will connect both your macbook and the android device together...Hope it helps -
Didn't work, but thank for trying to help.
