I have an old Blue Chip computer from 1986, when i get it last week it was running perfectly for a few days. But then it started failing boot the dos floppy disk when i started it up. It also says that there is a bad or missing interpreter. How do i fix it because i really like the computer.

There's something else you might try...people who clean old hard plastic dolls from the 50s and 60s use acne cream to fade stains and marks. Even works on ink marks on old Barbies, but you need to use the acne cream with 10 percent benzoyl peroxide. You just use a thin film of the acne cream, cover with plastic wrap.and put the doll in the sunshine. I have a feeling the process is the same as what you're doing. This might be an alternative to having to completely disassemble your old computers.

I use the Sally's developer and leave the item out in the sun for a couple hours. Works great.

I should try this on the spacebar of my Commodore SX-64. The machine is in perfect factory condition except the spacebar has yellowed a bit.

Will this work on colored plastic? I have an alarm clock that has some yellowed plastic on the back that is white. Some of the plastic on the front that is blue looks yellowed.

Has anyone ever tried this on yellowed headlight covers?
