Short video of how to use launch control on a DSG / S-tronic gearbox. This should work on any DSG or S-tronic gearbox, but, if the engine doesn't get above 1500 RPM, launch control is not enabled. ( can be enabled by a software update! Contact your dealer) Filmed in a 2005 Audi A3 Sportback 2.0 TFSI 200HP No engine or ecu modifications yet.

My 2008 A3 SPORTBACK go 0 to 100 (with Launch Control) in 6.8s, your car is not OK.
Anybody know why when i do everything like on the video RPM doesnt cross 1500?

I own one great fun but just be careful You can decrease clutch & Flywheel life which is expensive to replace.
esp controlls just the breaks! ;) nothing to do with acceleration
Does it all have to be done in the order you showed? How do you update the software? Is it free?
You shouldn't do this until the oil temperature is near 90°.... you will kill the turbo!!!

I'm dying to try this with our new A4 3.0TDI quattro (B8), but I'm reluctant to do so when I heard of the 200 count limit... :(
How are you changing gear? is it doing it automatically or are you using the paddles, cheers
Nac5000 my car does the same thing it turns off if I keep it pressed to long do you know why?
