I'm so confused... do you order your groceries online and just pick them up at the store? if so what chain would that be? I would love a service like that in my area
-
this vid is more for middle class ppl, but encouraging ppl to not have expensive cars is savvy.

great ideas to save money. actually I did a lot of these money-saving tips when my family was young. we only bought used cars, limited eating out, most weekends shopped at yard sale especially for children's clothes and toys. if buying new clothing I shopped only in the 75% and out of season racks. another tip for young families, many restaurants in our area have special nights that children under 12 years eat free with an adult purchase. a precaution for your subscribers, big mistakes that I made, although we lived debt free with good middle-class jobs I didn't save any money for the future , I loved bargains way too much! I felt Justified with my purchases cuz they were such good bargains! I had become a Shopaholic. we started to acquire way too much stuff! I felt like my children needed more things than they actually did. I bought things so cheap that my daughter treated everything as if it were disposable. we became overwhelmed with belongings! Imo shopaholics often start hoarding , at least I did . I had the mindset that when my kids got older I would start saving and stop buying. unfortunately when my youngest graduated high school I had to retire because of a chronic illness. if only I had learned to live minimalistically on fewer bargain purchases. I hope your subscribers will learn the importance of minimalistic living from your website. being financially prepared 4 illness, job losses, divorces or just a bad economy can be so hard to a adjust & live through. LOL sorry about length of comment, feel free to delete after reading! friends & family have suggested that I sell on eBay & possibly turn it into a business but without going to the mall and new retail stores, with your successful eBay store what are some good ideas to know what to buy and what will sell well and make the most money in your eBay store? I have a lot of extra time now with nice items that I don't need and should resell. now I can trust myself not to overspend at yard sales and thrift stores but I do not want to buy & resell items from discount stores or the mall. where do you get your resale ideas, please share?

I notice you do this already from watching your videos but your watchers may not be aware. Electricity runs a circuit. So if you leave appliances plugged in even if they are off that is electricity being lost and you are are paying for.
Our landlord has our water heater and baseboard heat on a timer. He is also concerned about our kids getting burned so the water never heats over a certain temperature. It kind of sucks if you want a really hot load for washing whites but that is what your tea kettle or stock pot is for.
I love my dehydrators. If we did not go through the celery or the baby carrots and they are getting a little uhh we just wash them really good. slice them up and put them in the dehydrator. On soup day, going camping, or having emergency food storage it's all done with leftover dehydrated food. Dehydrated squash and pumpkin make some of the best pies too. A lot of people throw their greens from carrots or other vegetables away. Dehydrate them and throw them in a soup.
crockpot I love my crockpot. It makes a meal for two days. We use it mostly on Sundays. We are Christians so we do not shop on Sunday and we fast once a month. We throw in food for the crockpot that can last two meals or be made into other meals. Chicken and roast can be turned into tacos, soup, or casseroles.
Making your own yogurt. Heyy home economics class. making yogurt smoothies for a treat for the kids and yogurt they help make. Who knows maybe Icecream will no longer be needed. you can make a lot of yogurt at home way cheaper than store bought.
There all kinds of Homeschool curriculums you can find free on the internet. I absolutely loved making my own curriculums because I could teach everyone the same things but had stuff for them at their levels. My curriculums the classes would mix. For instance, Geography was also Earth Science. Home ec was also physics, health & PE( i also did the human body that year and nutrition). I loved finding living history books or historical fiction to language arts and Social studies combined. It saves time and materials.
For that future baby. buy a ricer. Making your own baby food is not only Awesome but the weird thing is my children loved the vegetables more because they saw they were eating what we were eating. I put the extra in icecube trays for when they could start having mixed foods. If food got too hot heyy you have an frozen cube to add to add to it. -
I would love to live in a world where it was $20 to fill up my car! It's at least $60 for me. I'm so moving to America!
-
Great video but how do you sell your car if you are still making payments on it ?

We are STILL battling the student loans. It's been a struggle because we started out with so little and are only now, seven years into marriage, making (almost) decent money. Nothing big to sell, no fancy coffee to cut down on--but, just by being frugal and doing many of the things you mentioned, we were able to live WELL on that small sum. It taught us so much about contentment and what really matters...and I wouldn't trade those lessons for anything.

We don't have cable, Netflix or Internet. We get DVDs from the library and use an antennae. We have a wireless printer and unlimited data on our phones. It works for us but our friends and family think we are crazy. $$$
-
Thanks for the salon tip. Your hair is gorgeous, and looks very expensive. Love the twice a year visit...and you look so polished🔱.
-
Yes yes yes! We do all of these things. Target always gets me though, so I try to limit those trips! Lol
-
wow I think this is the first money saving video I've watched that has realistic, relatable, practical advice! thanks :)

Hi, I just saw your channel and honestly it helped me, I'm a shopaholic and was about to purchase things which I didn't need! Then your video popped up! Thank you, (this was a sign!😊) I have so many bills, and my winter depression doesn't help, (because I just wanted to purchase things to feel better.) I canceled the order!🤗 and paid a bill! Thank you! Your video helped! Good Luck with the adoption! God Bless you and your family!😊💖🌹
