Was she saying Dante, Shakespeare and the Bible are lying?

As long as you are not dealing with a psychopath

Everybody is a liar. This woman is merely making them harder to detect.

Aren't cosmetics like women's make-up, lipstick, mascara etc, just a kind of' lie' that's become socially acceptable? We choose to go along with these because its in everybody's interests. Just a thought.

someone (an acquaintance) slid into my DMs and flattered a post I posted of someone famous, whom I admire.
then I said I didn't know you knew them.
so they said that they did, and have known their work for five years.
Now, they provided additional info that I didn't ask for neither I needed (the number of years). what is the percentage that they were lying to me? -
She's saying that a regular person is no better than a coin in spotting a lie. I read that long time criminals are really good at lying and 'professional' spotters cannot tell if they are lying or not. Now anyone who has seen this can change their behaviour into either making you think that they are lying or avoiding the clues.
I think she knows it, but her business is selling spotting, that's why she's lying. -
I think people are so full of crap look up the "cia" i tell tell the story word for word as it was told to me does that make me a liar?

I couldn't see a difference in the eyes of the man with the real smile and fake smile. How am I missing the crow's feet she mentioned?

Why did the audience laugh at Diane Downs when she displayed duping delight is strange that smile would make your way pure evil she was just after describing her daughter's death I thought it was strange the audience found that funny.

I am a little wary of this video! Using famous people or telling of someone's guilt before hand is a little dishonest. Either you can demonstrate the signs or not. It seems they don't want to take a chance and instead use examples of people who have been proven to have lied or suspected of it. When the example wasn't known, they explained which one was guilty and which wasn't even though it seemed obvious. All this to show the audience member or viewer that they know what they are talking about!

Perhaps the most useful thing to come out of TED talks? Use this one to bust all the other ones lol.
