These tracking tools are created for people living in busy but a perfect World with human hearts so you can locate yourself your lost phone and or it will be returned to you Unfortunately there are many thefts that once they got your phone they disable it and fix the rest so you will never find it, So, there should be something more and better to let us know not only where it is. but also if it is in use if ever someone use it and this should be installed by default in any $800.00 plus phone,,

hey my phone was stolen yesterday and i dont know how to track it  i think i didn't i didnt activate those settings before it was stolen

useless..what i need is how to locate my stolen cp even if i didn't installed an app..

I found a Samsung Galaxy S3 today in the bus. I wiped it, reboot it, added this feature, destroyed the sim card and encrypted it n locked it. lol will be using it with prepaid card. :)

can it be found even though the phone is not active

I lost my phone today.

Do a Google search for "Android Device Manager." From there, Google enables you to  locate, ring, or wipe your device from the web.

they need to make an app where you like put in your cell number and it tracks where it is or something because what if you loose your phone and you dont have this app? you're hopeless.

Well, what happens if you didn't download the app before it was stolen? Can you download it on another phone? Do it from that phone?

nice video cos it worked....now i lost my s3.....and now i bought my s4 and i used d same gmail so when i tracked it its showing me the location of my s4 instead of my s3 so what do i do to track down my s3

I'm never buying an expensive phone again.  I hate thieves! 

so, if i found your phone. all i have to do is turn the gps off then all your work would be useless right?
