If there is no webcam icon uninstall Skype then install it again it should be there whenever you make a call or a friend calls you

This didn't work for me. On my Skype it doesn't even have a button for the webcam thing. 😕

i accidentally selected the block option for windows when i first started skype, couldnt find any exact solution to re-enable it, though this vid helped me to fix it, thx a ton! ^^

For me i did all this and it says it cant detect one even though there is one built into the laptop
