In Transition 2.0: a story of resilience and hope in extraordinary times
wie Sie tun, machen, Film, Beispiel
You can now order the DVD of this film, in a deluxe or a budget version, from http://www.transitionnetwork.org/transition-2. It features the following subtitles, all of which have been done by volunteers in their respective countries: Albanian, Croatian, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Hebrew, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Romanian, Slovak, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish. You will also find the links for ordering NTSC versions if you are in the US or Japan, or ordering from Germany. Here's how we describe it: "In Transition 2.0 is an inspirational immersion in the Transition movement, gathering stories from around the world of ordinary people doing extraordinary things. You'll hear about communities printing their own money, growing food, localising their economies and setting up community power stations. It's an idea that has gone viral, a social experiment that is about responding to uncertain times with solutions and optimism. In a world of increasing uncertainty, here is a story of hope, ingenuity and the power of growing vegetables in unexpected places" www.transitionnetwork.org

you still believe CO2 and PeakOil are the central Problems? So you are either bought or did not do your homework to research deeper.. this is a childrenworlds-view.. political correct. ;) On the other hand I really really love and appreciate this community-building wofk and will always support it.

I'm 26 minutes in and I'm still not clear on exactly just what this Transition Town thing actually IS. You can live in any healthy small town and have genuine community without some strange organization involved.

Anyone know the name and artist of the song at the end credits?

Chris Condello (16:10) is my hero! Truly inspiring. Also best quote of the month "...I can listen to heavy metal, dress like a punk and still garden and be cool."

Ah ok -- just read the other comments. The captions icon is the little rectangle with the two horizontal lines at the bottom right of the image. You can turn on the subtitles and choose the language here. :-) Great!
