getting an error "not enough space on disk" - I'm using an 8GB SD card , surely thats big enough?

thank you for making this video. i also found out that after installing the software on the pi and you have a wifi dongle, you have to reboot the pi for the wifi to work.

This doesn't work for me when i put the micro sd in the pi it shows a solid green and red light and nothing displays through the hdmi, does anyone have a solution to this?

hey thanks for this, just set up the latest Ubuntu MATE (16.04) on my Raspberry Pi 3!

So i did this same process , and when mate installed and i tried update, it would only do a partial and that failed due to needing 10mb freed up on a 16 gb sdcard i then used a 32 gig and got same error. Do you know what is causing this and how i can fix it? I have a 2 tb external hooked to my Pi 3.

I only get 3,5GB free disk space right after Booting up Ubuntu, after reboot, the sys Partition is full and I even cant get GParted to install..
