I would like to know if I at the same time should remove my current google-site-verification code from my pages if I use this tag manager with my Google analytics tracking number?

This video doesn't explain what THE FUCK is a Google Tag Manager.
-
Terrible explanation of quite a simple concept - Why do google and other youtube "experts" make these things so needlessly complicated? Morons!

People...if you don't know what a "tag" is in marketing-speak, you probably don't need a utility or service to manage them. mmmmkay?
If all you are using is Google Analytics (or any other single analytics solution) you probably don't need a tag manager.
If you are paying for a commercial solution like Tealium or similar to manage and implement dozens of tags on your site, you might want to consider Google Tag Manager. -
what? it showed just a normal site - i dont know what tags are in relation to your definition of tags.

I can make tags for my Website with Wordpress, is this an alternative to that? Or would I use both?
I have a Google analytics but I am just getting started with it. -
Nice to see a video that appreciates that the human brain can't watch and listen at the same time. I like the way the narrator stops talking while the cursor is moving, enabling complete absorption of the material. Well done!

You didn't answer the fundamental selling point, that one doesn't need to spend resources updating code on the site.
Each example used google-specific code that some engineer had to first put on the site: the adwords key and the analytics key. Nothing about tags for a basic element one might already have on any site, like the 'buy now' HTML button generated by the host's editing tools.
And besides that, what's the point of tagging an analytics key on every page? Analytics already collect data on every page. Looks like a redundant nonesense example. -
just copy the container snippet into EVERY page of the site?

this is a terrible video can you make one or point me to one that does explain what is going on
thank you -
we still don't understand what tags are ?

I have set up Google Tag Manager account and added a Google Adwords conversion tracking code.
I have set a rule for this tag to trigger when people view my contact us/thank-you url.
When setting up the Google Adwords conversion, I did NOT want to assign a value to my conversion.
When adding this tag to Tag Manager I enter the Conversion ID, Conversion Label, and left the Conversion Value and Currency Code blank.
When I sent my conversion live I checked it with Google Tag Assistant and it gives me a blue status, which means it is working but could be improved.
It suggests Conversions Value should be prefixed within the standard currency.
Is there anything I can change to ensure Tag Assistant shows as Green status of health?
Should I have set the currency code and entered 0 for conversion value? Or is it ok as is?
Please can anyone advise the best practise for this implementation. -
Where do you get that web property ID from?
