http://www.GetFitOver40.com - Jawbone UP Wristband Movement and Sleep Tracker Review. This is my first product review, I won't be going into crazy detail here, most of the basics are covered in my YouTube video. So what exactly is the Jawbone UP? It's an electronic wrist band that has motion sensors and a vibration motor in it, the motion sensors are used to track your movement, this movement is used to determine what type of activity you are doing and combined with your body weight and gender this information can determine how many calories you are burning throughout the day. The Jawbone UP can also use movement data while you are in a sleep setting to track your sleep patterns so you can see exactly how long you slept and also when you where in a deep sleep as opposed to lighter sleep. Based on this information the Jawbone UP can wake you using vibration right after you come out of a deep sleep but before you need to wake up and get going so you will not interrupt your deep sleep cycle and wake up groggy or tired. Buy the Jawbone UP: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00A17IAO0/ref=as_li_tf_til?tag=michaelkaye-20&camp=0&creative=0&linkCode=as1&creativeASIN=B00A17IAO0&adid=189Q8D9WGCDCB81PJPWB& Checkout the post for this video on my GetFitOver40.com Website: http://www.getfitover40.com/post/2013/3/21/jawbone-up-wristband-movement-and-sleep-tracker-review.html

Do NOT buy anything from Jawbone! They virtually have no customer service. My device stopped working and I have not been able to reach anyone via email, and their phone is disconnected...

Feedback - wish you had shown how much it vibrates and how the alarm app works: does it also play music after a period? etc. great vid otherwise

Great product. The app with the iPhone 6+ is amazing. You can get these now for like $50 US. I wanted to start out with this, just to start--then I'll move up to the Fitbit. Nice review, but dude: A MANicure would do wonders for lessening distractions from the product you're reviewing. If you can get fit, make that lifestyle work for you, and keep working toward a fitness goal, you can take care of your hands, too. Remember: your sons/kids only have you as an example of who & how to be. A man's hands say a lot about who he is. Yours basically say you're nervous, lack self control and hygiene isn't a priority. Just an observation...

What size do you have it in?

No Rash or redness. I have sensitive skin too. No problems. This is an older activity tracker but still good because of the robust app. Love mine. I have other activity trackers and smart watches...I wanted this because I didn't want another Bluetooth device connected to my device. This works great and is simple to use.

Does this item gives people rash or redness on their wrist?

touching 3 times at the icon to work? Must quickly switch to Samsung....

Got mine and I love it. U have to READ the manual.

Great product.

It tracks your sleep.. You have to tell it you're asleep though so it doesn't actually track when you're asleep. For the first 5 days I had mine I didn't switch modes.. and according to it I was up for 5 days straight without a second of sleep. It also says I burn something like 4000 calories in 3 hours and on and on.. It's terrible. I don't think it tracks ANYTHING very well at all, the data is entirely meaningless. In short it's a pure gimmick for OCD types.. Nothing else. I would wager the fitbit is little better. I think the main drive of these devices is not improving ones health but giving you something ELSE to add to all those waste of life social media sites. Now you and your friends can compare how you burn 12,000 calories in a gentle day of doing nothing. I am highly unimpressed.

You can track your workouts by using the stop watch

Well!! There goes his chance of being a hand model.

On your menu you had an app setting and underneath it said log workout and log sleep; mine does not have that listed. How do I add it?
