Sabot: pronounced like: SAY-bough (rhymes with YAY-though) dutch? German? I dunno. Neat vid, tho.
-
Shape charge rounds do not work by melting the copper cone. The are liquified by the shock wave only.

am I the only one who plays the game "from the depths"?

Aren't HEAT rounds illegal ? And what do ap rounds do once they penetrated ?

HEAT rounds don't work that way, they don't melt anything.

I believe if armour is sloped and thick the sharp pencil looking shell wouldn't penetrate

Release SABOT premium ammo WG

Depleted Uranium rounds.
-
The Brits also really love to use their Squash heads, more or less a high explosive round. And I think some nations even use canister rounds, pretty much a shoot-gun round for tanks ...
-
1:04 the penetrator rod.........
-
RPG's I believe also use a form of HEAT projectile. if you ever see one fired from a high speed camera, there's a thin light that projects out of the back of the target when hit.
-
That's just awesome. Wished we had this in WWII.
-
