 What about a good manual transmission, that is even more fuel efficient than any of these slushboxes. Why is that most manufacturers avoid building manual transmissions, they think that we cannot drive them?

my mercedes e class with the 722.9 gearbox has finally been diagnosed with faulty valve speed sensors in the valve body. This after two transmission oil changes . poor quality. after 2002 mercedes have many problems with electric parts.
