At the September 9 Apple event, Microsoft's Kirk Koenigsbauer took to the stage (wearing an Apple Watch) to demonstrate Microsoft Office. His demo encompasses using Styles in a Word document, marking up the Word document using Apple Pencil, placing an Excel document alongside the Word document, copying a chart from the Excel document into the Word document, creating a PowerPoint slide, and more. It's the most important three minutes from the two-plus hour event for lawyers and others who spend all day within Microsoft Office.

Ipad Pro and Office. The best of both worlds.

This might replace the desktop in office work. I’m not saying it would, I’m sayi9ng it might. Cause it won’t if you don’t have a USb hub and an ipad converter to connect them with.

When he first introduced Microsoft, I thought it was a prank.

I returned my surface pro 4 for the iPad pro 128gb lte model. I hated the surface. It was buggy the screen was unresponsive and I only got 7 hours of battery life. I'm getting 14/15 hours on the iPad. I'm not after a laptop. I have always wanted an iPad with a lager screen even before Apple released this. It does everything and more that I need it for.

No. It just the 'app'.
If you want a proper computer tablet, get a windows 10 tablet. Many have been announced recently. Surface pro 4 was just announced. Dell announced some and so did he. Don't go for this rip off. It's a mobile operating system. It can't run the programs you want it to. -
So will iPad Pro use the full version of Word? I'm looking for another tablet alternative to my Surface Pro 3 that actually works like a proper computer, that runs proper applications not just "apps".
