http://www.ted.com Neuroanatomist Jill Bolte Taylor had an opportunity few brain scientists would wish for: One morning, she realized she was having a massive stroke. As it happened -- as she felt her brain functions slip away one by one, speech, movement, understanding -- she studied and remembered every moment. This is a powerful story about how our brains define us and connect us to the world and to one another.

The truth is that both sides must work together or the balance of the thinking will not be productive. We must be able to tap into the in the moment side, but we must be able to apply it to the side that organizes our thoughts, where we must spend the majority of our time. It is the way we were designed. It all begins with "I am". The next step is "let there be". It's not just a story you know.

superbly scientifically explained. Just be in the present. Meditation helps attaining this here and now.

What could more anyone would wants to know, you can watch it millions and millions time, more than anything you ever watch, I can't share all my thought but my mind is now bombarded with many questions. It's greatest insight, better than spirituality.
