Seoul's Unification Ministry says it strongly believes North Korea is linked to the murder,... as several North Korean nationals were identified as suspects. One is currently detained in Malaysia, while four others are believed to be back in Pyongyang. Regarding mounting rumors on the whereabouts of North Korean general Kim Won-hong, the ministry said, as previously confirmed, he has been dismissed from his position as North Korea's Minister of State Security and is now undergoing an investigation by the North Korean Workers' Party. As for Choe Ryong-hae, the vice chairman of the Workers' Party Central Committee, who's believed to be the second most powerful man in the North,... the ministry said it doesn't have much information on him. Choe has not appeared in public for the past three weeks.
