It does not stay on in the background. Is there a way for it to stay on? You go to home page, or whatever MS (which BTW owns Skype) calls it, and Skype ceases to work. WTF? I tried every menu you can imagine, no luck. Not that there are many choices, the menu is tiny at best. Very little settings.

It can, you but essentially you will not be able to see the person but they'll see you or vice verse if you just watch the screen. Though if you have a mirror it can work, its definitely not perfect but for a $99-$149 smartphone ( depending on place of purchase) its a great deal; however I believe I heard it is <15,000 rs in India? So I assume that is roughly the same as USD price amount. But I am just trying to be helpful, hope it was :D
