Here I recorded my first try of attaching a H/K Drive+Play II to my old generation CD30MP3 headunit ... and it works! As mentioned, in stereo! Normaly the older generation (Blaupunkt, 6 Buttons) only allows mono input ...

Interessante Sache. Hast Du auch einen Schaltplan für Bastelaktion?

Hi,
as there are still many requests on 'how to do', please follow this link, where I described the whole procedure. Some people already modified succesfully in this form, please watch.

It is german, but nowadays it should be easy to translate it.

wie geht das denn??? bitte

so you created your own aux- in? Could you perhaps write down how to do that? because i'm getting an Corsa C 2003 with an 2005CDR radio. it does not support aux-in but I heard that the ISO connectors still have that option available to technically it should be possible in mine. very curious how as I always use spotify in my car and I want to keep the stock radio.

@novoodoo71 hi man, can you give me an advice??? i solder all conections as you did, i found some photos and i did it, the only problem is that my left speakers sound very pooly and little noise, but the right side ones work perfetc, what could i do to fix this problem???

Would love to see some datailed photo's of the soldered connections if you have them mate.

@novoodoo71 how did you mod your cd30mp3? did you rebuild the whole interface circuit (all the filters, hf rejection etc.) or did you just conenct pin 60 (AADR2_N), 61 (AADL2_P), 62 (AADL2_N) and 63 (AADR2_P) of the DCR4R to a jack?

what I´ve figured out is, that the phone-in at the audio chip is basicly stereo, but it's bridged to mono on the mainboard. So you have to cut one line on the board, lift one pin of the audio processor and solder two jumperwires. If you feel save in soldering directly at smd parts, then it's pretty easy. I will prepare a 'how to do' in the next days...
