Ray Kurzweil: Get ready for hybrid thinking
wie Sie tun, machen, Film, Beispiel
Two hundred million years ago, our mammal ancestors developed a new brain feature: the neocortex. This stamp-sized piece of tissue (wrapped around a brain the size of a walnut) is the key to what humanity has become. Now, futurist Ray Kurzweil suggests, we should get ready for the next big leap in brain power, as we tap into the computing power in the cloud. Rays the reality of Skynet.

Ray reminds me of Happy Days, don't know why.
I could see Woody Allen playing him in a movie. -
There is only one way to starve the system and prevent its cancerous growth: vasectomy. The less people there are, the value of each one rises.
Old selfish farts like the one talking here must die and let the young take charge. The baby boomer generation was the most selfish, narcissistic and destructive in history. -
I'm all for this, eventually this could become something available to all people (although that's very far in the future he says the technology could be around in twenty years but it's foolish to think a large amount of people will have it even within 50 years) and the possibilities are endless. Of course we would have to be careful, I can imagine something like this being vulnerable. Possibly some sort of terrorist attack that just kills everyone at once, like say the computers just send an electric shock. It sounds scifi but putting electric components in your brain that connect to wifi could possibly lead to it just keeping an open mind

He is talking about the few select, the elite if you like..
Not you in case anyone felt like he talked to you, wanted you to come along for the ride, don't be a fool. Please get angry it's only human once realizing you been taken for a ride, at me if it please you no problem but never ever imagine you are in for this ride not even for 1 sec.
Anyone really think they will offer 7.4 Billion people extended, improved, eternal life etc.., if so please snap out of it immediately and make sure we we humans will at least never technically be different classes cause we seen what happen to second class people throughout human history, it never ends well for them as soon as the rulers get an idea.
Not that long ago, just in the 70's the native Indian in South America got a taste of "western medicine" but most did not want our help at all, the wanted to keep living close to nature like they always did but ohh no we could not have that so we started a giant program, took them and dressed them up in western clothes, put their children in our schools and so on. But worst thing is we learn in our schools that they now have a better live thanks to that, we tell ourselves they are healthy and live a good live now and just ignore the fact that barely knew what cancer was before that and not at same rates as western man but more so they did not want our help, we helped them anyway just like we peace bomb countries into "democracy" even today.
But yeah dig deep enough and you will find Indians who wanted our help or at very least some who prepared to say they did, that's all that matters right. -
Kurzweil as director of Engineering at google. I can only imagine his conversations with the guys at deepmind. Fascinating.

Stupid smart people. The worst. Life is in the blood, just as it was designed to be.

He made OCR. Cool!!!

говорящий белок и желток , это яичница- болтунья ?
что за ... ? компьютер сам запутался , ведь в жизни такого не бывает ,не корректный вопрос ) -
Anybody else see any problem with allowing someone to implant computers in your head?

Brawndo's got electrolytes.

Nanobots in the brain connecting you to the cloud making you smarter than Einstein but then you become an embarrassed idiot when the wifi signal drops off! Yeah great.

It is true that humans evolved a new brain and during the years the evolvement of our mind which resulted in a highly capabel rational device, we could build the world we are living in now. But the mind also got a different side the side of seeking power and pleasure, of mindchatter of addiction of violence uncontrolled sexdrive enz. So if we are talking about future thinking, you first should know what the real purpose of our mind actually is and how the nature of the mind works. Find out because for the 1st time in history the ultimate Truth of Life has been revealed, it explains the big picture of life in every facet. Google TruthContest read the Present

the thing is he might be correct and that is where we go but to my mind I think it will limit the amount of emotion we feel sad , joy, if that connects to internet are we , we? what if the computer crashes , or worse way wrong can we still think better than a 3 year old. just asking and not knowing. smile

look at those blings

Dr. Frankensteen is talking about nanobots entering the brains of humans in 20 years time - I really can't believe he doesn't know that they're already entering our brains today as we breathe in all the smart dust his mates are spraying us with.

Welcome to the world of the artificial intelligence controlled human. Can't believe some of these comments on here welcoming this. They are trying to take away your humanity and turn you into a robot wake up !

I'm witting a book on the topic. Since the subject is just about the darkest trick soon to attempt pulling one over on our race, I've decided to make it rather humorous. Which title do you like better? Transhumanisim, a humorous insight on the fatal blow to humanities consciousness. Or Transhumanisim, the science and humor of how humanity built it's own prison.
