The proximity sensor on my Galaxy S4 stopped working, whenever I took a call the screen would shut down and won't come back on again, I discovered it had a lot of lint and dirt blocking it, I hope this video helps people with similar problems. Thanks for this tutorial. It fixed my problem. I though it was complicated (or risky) to dissemble the phone but turned out to be very easy.

The proximity sensor stopped working first, and a few months later all the sensors stopped working. I used the #0# to check and all read zeros. Any ideas?

Thanks a lot! After more than 2,5 years this was the only problem my S4 was having and now it's like new again!
I was surprised it was so easy to clean and if necessary to replace... makes me think twice before I ever need to send a phone to the service center for repairs... rediculous they charge you so much for 5 minutes work! -

Did exactly what you showed in the video and now it's working perfectly. When I opened my phone, my proximity sensor and the small inside glass of the screen was covered in dust. it's no surprise the proximity sensor was having problems in that condition. I've had my phone for two years and this was the first time I cleaned the sensor.
