The Apple Watch now has sleep tracking with Watch OS2 and it's ability to run native 3rd party apps. The app is called Sleep++ It's not great, but it's not bad either. To download the sleep tracking app for your Apple Watch, click this link: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/sleep++/id1038440371?mt=8 To find out how to download Apple Watch OS2 click here: https://youtu.be/LD--X1natTU SOCIAL MEDIA: www.facebook.com/techyagent www.twitter.com/techyagent www.instagram.com/techy_agent "techyagent" on Snapchat For business related inquiries or requests: greatagent80@gmail.com

I have an Jawbone UP3 wristband I use for specifically this purpose as my Apple Watch is charging at night. I put it on at night, and it automatically figures out when I actually fall asleep and when I wake up. This due to HR and other sensors. The sleep data is also far more detailed, as it uses the same sensors to figure out the sleep wuality as light sleep, REM and deep sleep. I find it to be surprisingly accurate compared to my sleep experience. It still only shows basic info in the Apple Health register, but the Jawbone app has all the details if need be. As far as simple sleep trackers, the Jawbone is the best piece of gear I have found. Now if I only could afford the Withings Aura sleep system :p

Who wants to sleep with their watch on? And how would you charge it? It's not a convenient app at all.
-
I have testet Sleep++ on my brand new Apple Watch Series 1, and Sleep++ was draining a full charged battery over the night. At the morning I was not able to activate my watch, it was totally drained.
Sorry, but this software is scrap. -
Sleep apnea events can't be monitor with that thing, it's not very useful.
-
when i sleep is the only time i need to charge it..
-
Thank you so much.
-
The app is just like how Fitbit sleep tracking is so that's good
-
You mentioned it doesn't do different levels of sleep like other trackers on the last reply that's the reason that I ask. Thank you for your great videos by the way
-
Which trackers do you recommend for doing the different levels?
-
Great. Thank you for the reply
-
i did use it last night and it seems great. but i wonder if it is some what accurate
-
do you think this is accurate? does it only sense motion or noise too?
-
I've downloaded it and will be giving it a try
-
Btw, does Apple Watch have smart alarm app ? Like the one with jawbone?
-
I installed it, but unfortunately when I want to try there a red msg says please ensure that sleep plus 2 has given permission to access your motion and fitness date,
Btw i allow sleep plus 2 to read and write in my fitness
Could you please help regarding this matter.
Thanks -
it's a good software, and sleep pulse 2 is also good with more features but it's a paid app. this one is for free. but i prefer to wear my jawbone up2 to sleep. it's smaller and thinner and no scree, so i would not worry about bumping into things while i sleep or putting pressure on the screen if i accidentally slept on it or so.

I'm using Sleep Pulse, give it a try.
-
I'll have to try this out. Thanks man.

The Watch keeps getting better and better. Like the finger pointer by the way.
