Star Trek - Horizon: Full Film
wie Sie tun, machen, Film, Beispiel
Star Trek - Horizon is a feature-length fan film made by a single filmmaker as a personal passion project and love letter to Enterprise, the fifth Star Trek series. Pre-production began in December of 2012 and this 3-year-long odyssey concluded on February 25th, 2016. It's been a long road, getting from there to here. The Coalition of Planets, a young alliance of worlds led by Earth, is at war with the Romulan Empire. Desperate for a chance to gain the upper hand in the war, the Coalition forms an alliance with T'mar, a Romulan deserter, in the hopes that she can provide valuable intelligence on her former masters. A well done movie with low budget, I liked it, although to much space fighting going on for me. Really good actors! - However, there are some logical errors. Romulans or the knowledge that all humanoid species have a common origin were not known at this time (Star Trek: Enterprise), concerning the series Star Trek, Vojager or Deep Space Nine. (This was already a problem in the series Star Trek: Enterprise). The Romulans were technically much further than the Earth and could have attacked the Earth directly, instead of building a weapon only 2 (!!!) light years away from Earth ! And, the "translation technology" used in the film for completely foreign languages: was not so well existing in Star Trek: Enterprise.

Great work guys! nice story :3
only complaint i have is the amount of Blur. (i cant stand (motion)Blur on a computer screen in general though)
Im sure there was a reason for it but then i still much rather had it without. -
Having followed the original Star Trek from the first airing this film fills me full of hope. Thank you so much for sharing this video I have loved all of this brilliant piece and hope this is not the last. Hugs to you all.

Despite not being a Star Trek fan - I LOVE "Babylon 5," this is a very decent attempt at paying hommage to this series and clearly a work of love.
Please ignore the haters, they have their own (mostly) selfish and often unreasonable reasons for doing so and too much free time as inDUHviduals.
There is indeed some hammy acting here, but then there's also Jonathan Frakes - a decent director, but a hammy actor; and William Shatner an over the top over-acting captain who still managed to steal our hearts (and don't get me staring about almost the entire "Voyager" crew)... .
Hell, even the best directors have their critics. Hitchcock, Kubrick, Lang, Tarantino, too name a few of my favourites. As for your work here, I have only one thing to say, "ALWAYS follow your passion and try to reach the unreachable star..."
Forget the critics without a cause. To them I say and let them try to do better or shut up.
The Star Trek franchise being what it is, you will probably be shut down or even treatened with a law-suit, but you managed to do what they couldn't: bring emotions to your characters and use those to drive your story - that is what I love about "Babylon 5" too - it's character driven and you used quite a lot of the ideas behind that series too make this film as good as it gets on your budget. Even with a limited budget, you managed to do what the franchise have failed to do on so many levels. The name-dropping is justified and solidly links this story to the original Trek-'verse. -
I'm about 20 minutes in and this FEEL's like a film made by teenagers. I'm not gonna finish watching it
-
Excellent job. Good plot and character interaction.
-
47 minutes in and this is the best Star Trek writing ever. The wordplay sucks, yet the plot is so amazing it tingles that special spot I can't feel until it's been awakened. Like an original.
I love this movie. -
is it really a STAR TREK movie ! hard to believe it.
-
Nicely done.. Kudo's.

Seen it before, and enjoyed it again.

ONE SLICK SLED.

For not being a Hollywood studio production, this was amazing. yes the casting may have been a little better, but not by much. The story was as true to star trek form as you could get, incorporating space battles, personal conflict and loss, and time travel. I would have liked to see more ingenuity or techie thing written into the bridge crews personalitys but, that being said I know I certainly could not have asked for more in a indie production WELL DONE

awesome!!! More please.
