is it just me or does TPM seem more like the originals than AOTC or ROTS?

since I saw episodes 1,2, and 3 before 4,5, and 6, I didn't have anything to compare the prequels to so I didn't mind them, but episode 2 dialogue between Anakin and padme was really awkward

They had to kill kylo in ep 7 so none of the original characters wouldn't kick the bucket.

Episode 7 sucked.
