I wouldn't have gone. I trust Robert Hare, if you are in any doubt and have never read Without Conscience then read it and it will erase all doubt from your mind.

The animation and sound distract the listener.

"A grey in a world that doesn't like grey" - bullshit! This world loves grey, it wants everybody to be grey, to conform. You buy an iPhone, make-up, a big car - to CONFORM and to feel better than others! And yet you are so grey and no different to others, so afraid to be grey. You fools!
If you truly stick out, if you don't like the rat race and to win by beating others, don't dress up, don't care about money - then this world hates you. -
Based on this I should be put in Arkham Asylum with more security measures then the Joker...

I worked with a guy who was a psychopath... or at least that's what I told everyone in our workplace after he rejected me *twitches

When a society by-and-large rejects timeless spiritual, mental, emotional, behavioral, communicational and/or social absolutes, then the "standards" for what is healthy/normal in these areas can't help but fluctuate in response to the ever changing whims and shifting trends of the society at-large.
It's like a ship anchored at sea. Cut the rope to the Anchor, and the ship drifts wherever the currents and winds dictate. The lie that societies like this (like ours) believe is that they're strong enough and wise enough to navigate the open seas. The truth is that the seas and winds have always been, and will always be, stronger than the strongest boat humans can build... -
mother Theresa once quoted that the pain and suffering that her patients go through enlightens her.
Broadmoor & theresa have an awful lot in common, in an insane kind of way. -
the music is infuriating

5 years for beating someone up? you can kill someone and get 4

the sound effects and music are totally extraneous and dont always have matching moods with the speaker. his final sentence is meant as the cherry on his cake and some semblance of an emotional or poignant closure but it really fell flat with me. he didnt go to dinner when asked by the subject of his book - "what would you have done"? so weak and pointless. terrible ending. boring TED talk.
