DOES ANYBODY KNOWS IF THIS APP IS SAFE. FREE VIRUS FREE

Beware of VPNs! That gave me problems. Disabled my VPN, uninstalled and reinstalled SWYH (this reconfigured it with my regular internet IP address) then followed wagstorm's instructions --
1. Download "Stream What You Hear"
2. Go to your Sonos app on your PC and go to “Manage” –> “Add Radio Station…”
3. Right click on your SWYH icon in the task bar and go to “Tools” -> “HTTP Live Streaming”
4. Copy paste your streaming URL and enter the desired name and play!
and it works like a charm (despite a delay - so best for listening to music only otherwise video will be ahead)! -
This is ingenious and works great. Thank you so much! I'm sending a donation to SWH.

what about on a mac?

Quick question. Why use this when, under Windows 8.1, you can right click and select "play to" and choose your Sonos speaker?
-
its says can not connect then my IP address.. ayone know how to fix this?

For Audio and Video synchronization, Try VLC Player >> Tools>> Track synchronization to speed up audio over video, this helps.
VLC can also play YouTube videos, just press ctrl + V the YouTube URL when VLC is opened. You can watch YouTube videos without Ads. -

I get the following issue displayed in sonos with swyh 1.4
"unable to play swyh.mp3 - the track is not encoded correctly"
when playing the above youtube video or any other youtube video.

Too bad the audio is out of sync with the video.

Lets say i want to use my own speakers. Can i get the sonos bridge just to stream my music through my own speakers or what do i do?
-
could you play computer music with multi sonos speakers together, say 2 play 1s and 1 sonos sound bar?
-
I cannot mak it work... it says on SONOS the app that the record I want to hear is not coded correctly
