Years ago, back in the eighties, I lived in a flat with a fireplace in the front living room and the bedroom. They were big, old style fireplaces with solid marble surrounds and I could burn practically anything in them. Now, with landlords having to comply with all the wretched elf and safety rules, we live in miserable sealed rooms and all I can do is watch this and dream of the good old days.
